If you subscribe to a paid plan or make an in-app purchase, certain purchase-related information may be processed by the relevant platforms, specifically Apple App Store or Google Play.
DevUpNow does not directly store your payment details. Payments are processed by Apple and Google platforms according to their own terms and privacy policies.
We may retain technical information related to your subscription, such as:
- subscription status;
- type of subscription plan;
- activation date;
- expiration or renewal date;
- technical transaction ID provided by the platform.
1.4 Technical and analytics data
We may collect certain technical data required for the proper operation, security, and improvement of the application, including:

- approximate country or geographical area;

DevUpNow data is hosted on secure infrastructures, including cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, as well as, depending on the features used, technical services provided by Google Firebase or other specialized vendors.

- accidental or unlawful destruction.
These measures may include access control, communication encryption, restriction of access rights, data backups, and technical error monitoring.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy.
For guidance:
- account data is retained for as long as your account remains active;
- progress data is retained for as long as your account is active, allowing you to pick up where you left off;
- subscription-related data is retained for the time necessary to manage the subscription and comply with applicable legal obligations;
- technical and statistical data may be retained for a limited period necessary for analysis, security, troubleshooting, and improving the app.
You can request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time via the app's support interface or through the contact method provided in this policy.
However, certain data may be retained for a longer period if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or ensure service security.
7. Your Rights

8. Account Deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Deleting your account may result in the permanent loss of your progress, scores, MCQ history, badges, and any data associated with the app.
Deleting your account does not necessarily automatically cancel a subscription purchased via the App Store or Google Play. Managing and canceling subscriptions must be done directly from your Apple or Google account, depending on the platform used.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The DevUpNow mobile app does not use cookies in the traditional website sense.
The DevUpNow website may, however, use technologies necessary for its operation, audience measurement, or improving the user experience.
When cookies or trackers requiring consent are used on the website, an information and consent management mechanism is provided in accordance with applicable regulations.
10. Notifications
DevUpNow may use push notifications to inform you about specific actions, reminders, new features, or updates related to your progress.
You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
